Delaplane was formed in the winter of 2014 by Brian Caperton and Stewart Muztafago. Brian and Stew grew up in Warrenton, Virginia, where they began playing music together in middle school. Delaplane influences can be heard in band covers of such artists as Nick Drake, The Beatles, Neil Young, Bon Iver. and Radiohead.
