The Cold War Museum, in cooperation with Old Bust Head Brewing Company, invites you to attend a presentation by intelligence historian David Hadley on
The Rising Clamor: The American Press and the Central Intelligence Agency in the Cold War, 1947-1976
Drawing from his upcoming book, David Hadley will explore the relationships that developed between the Central Intelligence Agency and the domestic U.S. press in its early decades. It will seek to place the contacts that existed between the CIA and the media in their proper historical context and debunk some of the more extreme theories about the CIA’s role in the press.

Time: 1:00 PM. (Arrival at the brewery: 12:30-1:00 PM)

Cost: $25, including the presentation; a $7 coupon toward a craft beer draft, Kombucha or other drink; a $10 contribution to the Cold War Museum; and special access to the Museum (next door) for event participants following the presentation. TICKETS AT THE DOOR, IF AVAILABLE, WILL BE $35.
