You might tell your friends you're the best at playing Mario Kart, but now it's time to put that to the test. We're hosting a Mario Kart 64 Tournament right here in the brewery Saturday, August 28th 2:00PM-4:00PM!

Gameplay Rules (4 Player)
4 player – Top 2 advance to the next round

Versus Mode-
150cc
Cup - Mushroom or Flower Cup (decided at random by order of sign up) Top two players with the most points after 3 races advance to 2nd round.

Courses -
Mushroom: Moo Moo Farm, Koopa Troopa Beach & Kalimari Desert. Flower: Toads Turnpike, Frappe Snowland & Choco Mountain.
Point allocation per track: • 1st Place – 9 points • 2nd Place – 6 points • 3rd Place – 3 points • 4th Place – 0 points

Round 2 -
Gameplay Rules (4 Player)
4 player – Top player advances to the final round.

Versus Mode-
150cc

Cup - Star Cup
Top player with the most points after 3 races advances to championship round.
Courses - Wario Stadium, Sherbert Land & Bower’s Castle
Point allocation per track: • 1st Place – 9 points • 2nd Place – 6 points • 3rd Place – 3 points • 4th Place – 0 points

Cup - Special Cup
Player with the most points after 4 races wins tournament

D.K.’s Jungle Parkway, Yoshi Valley, Banshee Boardwalk & Rainbow Road

Tiebreaker
If there is a tie for second place in the initial rounds or a tie for first place in the Finals, a tiebreaker will be decided by a single Versus race on Royal Raceway between the tied players.

Choosing Characters and Cups
[4 Player] Players will draw numbers (1-4) to determine order of character selection (1 gets first choice, 2 gets second, 3 gets third, and 4 gets fourth). Players may not change characters during a round.
[2 Player] Players will flip a coin to determine order of character selection.

Glitches

Controllers
We have a limited number of N64 controllers available, so you are strongly encouraged to bring your own. Standard N64 controllers, HORI Mini Pad, N64 Arcade Shark Joystick, Gamecube controller (with N64 adapter), and keyboard (with N64 adapter) are permitted. Any other types of controllers not mentioned may be used.
