Mt. Eccentric

Farmhouse Ale

Tasting Notes

Brewing a beer with peppercorns may seem like unusual behavior to some, but we love this Farmhouse Style Ale aptly named Mount Eccentric after the 18th century Fauquier Co. farmhouse.  Hopped with Sorachi Ace and Czech Saaz and fermented warm with a yeast strain that originated in Belgium, Mt. Eccentric Farmhouse Ale has aromas of pineapple, Meyer lemon pith, and a hint of earthy tanginess. A touch of rye malt and a blend of spices complements a dry, refreshing finish while wheat gives a delicate mouthfeel to this drinkable brew.
