Learn to Homebrew Day at OBH

Old Bust Head Brewing Company is celebrating Learn to Homebrew Day (LTHD) by hosting a homebrew event at our brewery in Vint Hill, VA on Saturday, November 1st.  LTHD was established by the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) in 1999 to encourage homebrewers to introduce their non-brewer friends and family to the most rewarding hobby, obsession and lifestyle since the beginning of time!

Homebrewers are invited to bring their brewing equipment and supplies to brew a batch of beer outside our production area near the silo.  We will be starting at 9:00AM and will have hot water and electricity available as well as a place to dump spent grain.  Extra water hoses, hose Y connectors, extension cords, and power strips will be needed so bring them if you got them.  Our taproom will be open to the public starting at noon on Saturday so polish up those rigs and expect some informal Q&A.

Those new to homebrewing are welcome to attend.  At our last brew event we had several different types of rigs and brewing techniques being used so there is a lot that can be learned.
